Preschool Field Trip to Anthropology museum at USU- April 2, 2009

Bridger's preschool took a field trip to the anthropology museum at USU. We first all rode the city bus up there. The kids loved riding the bus. At the museum they showed them things about mummy preservation, egyptian writing, and old Indian relics. They also let the kids try larva and crickets like what the Indians ate. YUCK!!

Science Fair- April 1, 2009

Ryland did a science fair project on Dinosaurs- His question was"Are All Meat Eating Dinosaurs Large?" He read books and looked online to learn about them. He learned that there were quite a few small meat eating dinosaurs. The smallest one he found was called the Eoraptor- it stood two feet tall from its hips up compared to the T-Rex standing 20 feet tall. So he used toy dinosaurs we had at home to do a comparison.

Bridger's 5th birthday- March 24th

Bridger had a fun birthday. Yes, we this is the third birthday in less than a week for our family! Bridger got a Dinosaur Battle game, a nerf blaster, a fake snake, bug catcher, pinwheels, and other fun little toys. We went to McDonald's for his dinner. And his cake was Scooby Doo cake.

Jolene's birthday- March 23rd

My birthday was on March 23rd. It was a great day and everyone seemed to be extra helpful!! We celebrated by going out to dinner at Golden Corral (also for Hayden's birthday dinner out and for Family Home Evening). What I wanted was to see "Joseph" (which we did on Hayden's birthday) and "The Foreigner" play in Pleasant Grove. A friend of mine from high school was in it. So that's what we did. But the play wasn't until March 28th. We took the whole family to Orem and went to a small reunion for the Heatheridge 5th ward friends and then some high school friends after "The Foreigner". But I am getting ahead of myself. On my birthday, my friends were so good to me!! I had a fun chocolatey day. I got lots of chocolate and candy (they all knew I had been craving it!!) And don't worry- I didn't eat it all at once. I still have plenty left and I even shared!!!!

I have pictures of the birthday signs Hayden, John, and Chandler put up for me.

Hayden's 14th birthday- March 20th

Hayden opened birthday presents in the morning. Then in the evening we had his dinner- Tiny Spicy Chicken and his birthday cake- Tres Leche Cake. Then John and I took Hayden with us to see "Joseph and his amazing technicolor dreamcoat" at the Old Barn Theatre. The YW in our ward went too and Hayden's girlfriend came with her friend (a YW from our ward). So Hayden was happy, but did not want his brothers to know that she was at the play too. So if his brothers never look at this blog, they won't know. We will see what happens.

Junior Prom- March 13, 2009

Chandler went to Logan High Junior Prom. I wasn't able to get pictures with his date since he left to go get her and didn't have time to come back for pictures. There was a big group of kids and they had dinner at Strat's house. Chandler's date was Shirley Tyler. I will post more pictures when I get copies!
