A Las Vegas Trip For Serena's birthday
On April 8, 2010 I (Jolene) drove to Las Vegas area to surprise my sister Serena for her 40th birthday (on April 9th). Our other sisters, Candith, Andrea, and Tonya were also coming from Arizona for the surprise. I took Chandler and Taila (my niece who has been living with us since January and working at a law office in Logan) with me. We started driving at about 6 PM on the 8th so we rolled into Las Vegas just after midnight. We decided to stay at Circus Circus and then go to my sister's house the next day to surprise her. We rode the roller coaster in circus circus and just hung out there before we went to her house.
Hayden's 15th birthday- March 20th, 2010
This was the evening after the Lacrosse Tournament in Pocatello. Alyssa and her boys, Orion and Cyrus, and Tim were all able to be there. Alex's girlfriend Tamires was there too. Hayden wanted Pounders for dinner- which we picked up on our way home.
Chandler and Hayden's Lacrosse Games in Pocatello- Yay! LOGAN HIGH
This was on March 20, 2010. It was Hayden's 15th birthday. He spent most of his day playing Lacrosse in Pocatello, Idaho. Hayden is #36 and Chandler is #38. This was at a tournament in Pocatello. They won all their games that day. They had a great overall season. I think they lost only two games.
John's birthday- Feb. 26th, 2010
John's birthday- Feb. 26, 2010 We tried to be creative by putting 4 candles in one row and 7 in another to represent 47. Everyone was helpful making him breakfast and then later with the cake!
Bridger and Ryland- Woodruff School Science Fair April 2010
Bridger did a project on Starbursts. He was trying to see if people would know the flavors if they didn't see the wrapper with the name on it. He learned that overall most people really don't know the flavor they are eating.
Ryland's project was seeing how much iron there was in the boxed cereals. He learned that it is the same type of iron used to make metals- bolts, screws, etc. but in a finer form.

notice Hayden got a whole box of Funyuns for his birthday. That was what he asked for. He ate them all and decided he didn't want Funyuns for awhile after that, but he is back to eating them again. I don't think he'll ever ask for a whole box of them again, though!
